Meet Dr. Soyoun Park Ph.D.

Licensed Neuropsychologist (Psy24090)

Welcome to Park Neuropsychology. My practice focuses on providing comprehensive neuropsychological rehabilitation, assessment, and supportive counseling to patients who have suffered traumatic brain injury (TBI) or impairment and their families. I also provide individual psychotherapy to patients who suffer from brain related illness. I believe this focus combined with over 17 years of neuropsychology experience enables me to deliver high-quality, personalized care.

I am a clinical psychologist with over 17 years of clinical experience serving patients whose cognitive functioning has been impacted by stroke, COVID-19, accidents & injuries, brain tumors, acute medical conditions, and neurological diseases including Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Before opening my private practice I spent more than 12 years as a multidisciplinary team member at an outpatient neuro rehab service helping newly discharged TBI patients adjust to home settings and providing back-to-work assessments.

I earned my Ph.D. from the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology and a BS in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University. My clinical training included an APA-accredited neuropsychology internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and a post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at San Francisco General Hospital/UCSF.

Who Benefits from My Practice

Serving patients, families and caregivers

My neuropsychological program works with adult patients (18 years to 99+ years old) who suffer from brain-related illnesses such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, autoimmune diseases, tumors, COVID-19, and neurological diseases including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. I believe in a team model where you and your family or other caregivers play an active role.

I welcome the opportunity to work together with other medical professionals to address the unique needs of each patient and help them to achieve long-term improvement.
